Helping children–the Dörnberg Foundation

In 1897, the Count von Dörnberg Orphan Fund Foundation emerged from a foundation. Since then, we have supported children who have lost a parent with financial assistance for school supplies, daycare, driver's licenses, or computers. Church congregations and the Diakonie (social welfare organization) facilitate contact. We offer concrete support to make their journey easier for the children and show them that they are not alone. Through the foundation, the Evangelical Lutheran Church helps children in difficult life situations and receives much gratitude for this. "The Magical Count's Christmas Market" is an idea of the foundation and the Schröppel family from the Rosarium Restaurant.
